About

"My favorite ‘color’ is vibrant!"

Trish Stephen creates beautiful fiber art wall hangings.  Using a traditional fiber-art technique, namely quilting, she creates decidedly non-traditional works of art. Her artistic creations are distinctive and give the impression of 'painting with fabric' rather than traditional quilting. This non-traditional form often features bold designs that have become quite popular with art collectors. Trish says of her work: “Although I work in other mediums, fiber is my medium of choice – all sorts of fibers.  Textile, metal, plastic, there really aren’t any rules!  My favorite ‘color’ is vibrant! Her pieces are in private collections across the United States. Her work has also shown in juried exhibits – Lakewood Arts Council as well as 40West Arts in Lakewood, CO and Aar River Gallery in Westminster CO. One of her pieces, "Closer Walk With Thee" has won People’s Choice award (40 West Arts 2014) & Best of Show Aar River Gallery (2015)! Trish lives in Arvada, CO, with her husband of 27 years, and their cat - Cecil. Trish sings on the worship team at Foothills Bible Church in Littleton CO, where they attend together. Well, except, not the cat. "My inspiration comes from my Creator - the Great Artist - and being out in His creation! I desire to glorify His name with the works of my hands and heart.”
